Homemade Salad Dressing | SweetSavour
I honestly don’t know why I spend my money on store bought salad dressings. Homemade salad dressings are SO much better, and you get to control what goes inside, no preservatives or extra calories here my friends!
This dressing is as simple as can be and has a sweet, savory, and salty flavor that makes your tastebuds sing! Not to mention, it’s a great source of poly & mono unsaturated fats from the sesame seed oil. When heated, sesame seed oil becomes unstable, and isn’t the best to consume. But if kept in its original form, and cool, it’s a fantastic fat. The other main ingredient that might surprise you is apple cider vinegar, typically I think this stuff is gross! But man, it makes this dressing pop, and have you heard of the benefits of apple cider vinegar? It improves digestions, makes you feel fuller, helps with acne, reduces belly fat, improves insulin sensitivity, decreases cancer risk, kills bacteria, and the lists goes on.
- 1 T Sesame Seed Oil
- 1 1/2 – 2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1-2 tsp Organic Honey
- 1+ tsp salt
Simply mix all the ingredients, this is one serving so double as needed!
