People often say that you can tell a lot about a person by the books that are on their book shelves. I wonder what your children’s bookcase says about them? And you? If the Lord God has blessed us with children, then He has given us an immense responsibility towards them and towards God. Their view of God and the world is formed in these early days.
Our aim is to provide material for children that are true to God’s Word, the Bible and thus glorify God. We believe that children’s books can, and should be, wholesome, good and character-building. For example, there is no reason for our children to be reading books that disown God as the Creator. Nor should the pictures feature immodesty or indecency.
Are you aware of the dangers there are in the vast majority of children’s books today? If not, maybe you should take a look at some of the children’s books that are available today. (Take a trip to the library or a book-shop or look online) You will be shocked to see the mix of monsters, witches, wizards, ghosts, vampires, immodesty, rebellion, and perverseness that fills much that passes for children’s books today. If you still don’t believe me, have a look at the philosophies of those that write the books. Then, have a look at your own children’s book shelves….
We aim to provide an alternative to the anti God, anti-Biblical nature of much that passes for children’s materials these days.
